The proposed site for diversion is almost an open forest and situated by the side of Plappally - Pamba main road. The extent is only 0.081 Ha.A portion of the area has already diverted temporary towards installation of shops during Sabarimala pilgrimage season.The site is intended for the construction of a Police Station building.No commercial or industrial activity is proposed in the diverted area .
