5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : NIL
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : Some areas are very steep and is prone to erosion. But as most of the projct is underground and needs clearing at specific areas, special measures to prevent erosion could mitigate
7. Approximate distance of the proposed site for diversion from boundary of forest(in km.) : 0
8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
(i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Elephant, Macaque, Sambar Deer, Wild boar, porcupine, Peacock, Mouse deer etc
(ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve, tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes
Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The proposed area is part of Anamudy Elephant Reserve. It also forms a part of Corridor for Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary to Thodupuzha Reserve Forest areas. Since most of the project is underground in undisturbed area 2.2 Ha, and rest in mostly habitated area 2.7 Ha, applying proper mitigation measures, the project could made a sustainable way to generate hydropower with good cost benefit ratio as it is for 19.8 MW
(iii). Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): No
(iv). Whether any national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve, tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc., is located within 1 Km. from boundary of the forest land proposed for diversion : Yes
Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The proposed area is part of Anamudy Elephant Reserve.  (v). Whether any rare/endangered/unique species of flora and fauna found in the area : Yes
9. Details of any protected archaeological/heritage site/defence establishment or any other important monument located in the area, if any
(i). Whether any protected archaeological/heritage site/defence establishment or any other important monument is located in the area : No
10. Comment as to the reasonability of the extent of the forest land proposed for diversion
(i). Whether the requirement of forest land as proposed by the user agency is unavoidable and bare minimum for the project : Yes
11. Details of violation(s), if any ,committed
(i). Whether any work in violation of the Act or guidelines issued under the Act has been carried out : No
12. Whether work in violation is still in progres(Yes/No) : NIL

KothamangalamHigh Range Circle, KottayamDFO RecommendedThe project is to construct and operate the Keezharkuthu Power project 19.8 MW in a forest area of 4.9054 Ha in the Thodupuzha Reserve Forest in Thodupuzha Range under Veloor Station area. It is a run of the river project in Keezhar, tributary of Kambar and a sub tributary of Kaliyar. The Total area proposed for diversion is 4.9054 Ha, out of which 2.2 Ha is area under Land Assignment Of Forest land Patta issued under Kerala Land Assignment Special Rules 1993 . Out of remaining 2.7054 Ha, Ropeway 0.45 Ha will be dismantled and could be regenerated into natural forests and hence similarly CA land is provided for this also and could be regenerated into natural forests. Penstock in natural forest area 0.49 Ha and Power tunnel 0.48 ha is proposed completely underground and hence the impact into forest will be minimal. Hence the project is recommended for 4.9054 Ha.
High Range Circle, KottayamCF RecommendedThe project proposal is situated in Nagarampara reserve and proposal is to construct a small weir and divert water through and produce electricity in the nearby Patta land. After a serious discussions, area to be diverted is was reduce to minimize impact on forest by reducing size of weir proposing a rope way etc. Non forest land for CA is proposed in the Patta Land in nearby Kaithappara settlement. Conditions of diversion already enumerated by DFO in which the important is to avoid building Pucca road. The Project area is not near to any sanctuary or NP or in its ESZ. However the weir portion is part of a large Elephant habitat and therefore no staff should be permanently housed in the area after the work is finished. The area required is minimum and compensatory land from settlement will help the re settlement of the Kaithappara Colony outside. The Project is Recommended.Yes
