The proposed project area is 0.9894 Ha. of Forest Land for Laying of Pipeline for purpose of Drinking Water Supply to the Hassan City under AMRUT Scheme. The proposed project area falls in Kattaya village Kattaya Kaval Sy. No. 126, 129, 142, 143 & 145 of Hassan Taluk under Hassan Range of Hassan Division. Since, the proposed project is for Drinking Water Supply to Hassan City, it may be essential and required to be commissioned the proposed project. Hence, the project is recommended for approval.

Yes, The project is transmitted from the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests Hassan is submitted here forth for taking the drinking pipe line into your kind account for further needful action. The proposed project area is reported to be falling within Kattyaya village of Hassan Taluk of Hassan Division in older Eucalyptus and Acacia plantation. Most of the area is plantations of Acacia with very sparse interspersion of natural trees like Terminalia, Ficus, Syzygium, Tectona grandis , Mengifera indica and plantations of Eucalyptus and Acacia auriculiformis Most of the area is replete with older Acacia and Eucalyptus plantations with very sparse occurrence of peacocks, hares and wild boars. The fresh pipe line is laid along the roadside simultaneously in line with the older drinking pipe line except a small patch of 600 meter which falls in a very deep gorge where proposed pipe line is required to be slightly diverted towards better manageable earth ground level for further routine, daily operational maintenance. Since the proposed project is for Drinking Water Supply to Hassan City which is considered to be essential in the interest of the public and required to be commissioned as early as possible to due to the acute shortage of supply of water. Hence, the project is recommended for taking further kind action of approval.
