Since, Hospet taluk is drought prone area facing Severe shortage of drinking water, it is very much essential for the villagers to mitigate the shortage of drinking water problem. Therefore it is very much necessary & essential for the people of the Bukkasagara and Kanavithimmapura area. Further, the project proponent has agreed to provide water outlet at 3 places with in the sanctuary area , so as to supply water for the wildlife of Daroji Bear Sanctuary. Hence, the proposal may be considered for clearance under Wildlife Protection Act State Board for Wildlife & National Board for Wildlife and Forest Conservation Act 1980. Therefore, it is recommended for diversion.
