5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The proposed area for diversion is part of the Kappathgudda WLS which will be covered in the Management Plan. The rest areas falling within the Eco-sensitive zone is part of Protection cum Improvement Circle and planted with Eucalyptus species which is being extracted and planted with mixed local species.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : The area proposed to be diverted is under scrub like forest, and hence little tree growth. Regular SMC works has been helping the area to assist in vigorous regeneration.
7. Approximate distance of the proposed site for diversion from boundary of forest(in km.) : 0
8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Spotted deer, black buck, barking deer, Wolves, Striped hyenas, porcupine, fox, four horned antelope, leopard and other smaller mammals.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes
  Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The area although falling within the proposed Eco Sensitive Zone of Kappathagudda Wildlife Sanctuary has no direct effect on the wildlife as it is just beside the already existing settlements and on the periphery of the forest boundaries. The pipeline once laid in the forest land, the land can be restored to its original state.
 (iii). Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): Yes
