The present proposal of diversion is for urban water supply to Hubbali Dharwad Muncipal Araes. Diversion of forest land as proposed by the User Agency is unavoidable and bare minimum of requirements. Hence proposal may be recommended for the diversion of above said forest area for laying of the underground clear water pipeline for providing the continuous 24*7 water supply in the entire city of Hubballli & Dharwad as per the provisions prescribed in section 2 of Forest Conservation Act 1980.
