During the inspection, it was observed that in the beginning the User Agency had identified the proposed site in midst of the forest area where nearly 140 trees has to be cut. Hence the User agency was informed to identify an alternate site, later the User Agency had identified an alternate site in the road adjacent to the forest boundary where there exists no tree growth hence the question of tree felling does not arise. In light of the above, the proposal for leasing an area of 0.341 ha 0.301 ha in Sy.No.5 of Uttarahalli Manavarthe Kaval of Turahalli MF & 0.040 ha in Sy.No.170 of Badamanvarthe kaval of Turahalli SF of forest land in Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk in favour of the Executive Engineer, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board BWSSB Kaveri 1 Division, Bengaluru may be accepted.
