Wild life and Elephant movement is noticed in the area. Hence, mitigation measures needs to be taken.

Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ):

Year wise salvaging and improvement operations have been prescribed. Removal of dead and Decay trees on 5 rotation. Soil and Moisture Conservation (SMC) works, tending operations, Gap planting and fire protection measures are proposed.

This project should align itself with the Environment protection Act and other such acts/rules in using forest land. Sufficient protection measures should be taken in the usage, management and protection of forest resources and provide necessary resources during the fire season to mitigate it.
