KundapurMangaloreDFO RecommendedInspected the proposed area on 15 07 2021. The proposed area falls under the Mundkuru Block bit II RF and Deemed Forest. User agency requested for diversion of 2.5766Ha. Vegetation of the area is of dry scrub, deciduous type. The area is level to slightly undulating. However only foundation and concrete works for the towers are the earth works involved. So there is less chance of soil erosion. It doesn’t contain any rare and endangered flora and fauna. This additional proposal is submitted due to minor changes in the alignment required for technical reasons during the execution of the works. In original alignment, the transmission line was passing through the boundary of the reserve forest area. But at a later stage it was found technically more feasible for the transmission line to pass through the reserve forest area. Hence the additional proposal. In view of the above, during my inspection, it was found that the User Agency had already completed the construction of the Nandikur Shanti Grama 400 KV transmission line. Hence it currently does not require any felling of trees. The proposal can be recommended for sanction, considering that it helps towards electrification of the State, and this project is in public interest and caters to providing basic needs of the people and industrial development of the state.
MangaloreCF RecommendedI hereby recommend the the Construction of 400 KVDC line with Quad moose ACSR from UPCL Nandikur generating station to 400/220 KV receiving station Shantigrama. It is also found that the User Agency has already completed the construction of the Nandikur Shantigrama 400KV Transmission line as per GOI Stage II order. The proposal is be recommended for sanction, considering that it helps towards electrification of the State and this project is in public interest and caters to providing basic needs of the people and industrial development of the state. Hence, the proposal is justified. Yes
Nodal Officer Recommended The project executed by KPTCL and it is essential need for local peoples and agreeing with recommendations of filed officers.
