The proposed forest area for diversion has gentle slope, covered with vegetation is not prone for erosion

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
There will be impact on movement of Elephants and other wild animals. It can be mitigated by laying underground cables instead of transmission towewrs

The proposed forest area for diversion is within the Chilandavaadi SF and connected to Hegganuru which is an enclosure village falls within the notified ESZ. The proposed project has impact in the form of restriction of movement of elephants, electrocution may happen.

The proposed forest area for diversion is within Wildlife sanctuary and notified Eco sensitive Zone around Cauvery Wildlife sanctuary. It is advised to user agency to lay the underground cable for laying transmission lines,
