The Proposal No. FP/KA/ROAD/156224/2022 submitted by the user agency after site inspection, the area does not fall within the eco sensitive zone there will be no damage for the vegetation in the proposed area except the proposed and permitted. So there are no violations of Forest Conservation , Act 1980 in the proposed area. Since the project is for public utility, the diversion of forest land of 18.844 Ha is recommended for approval.

The proposed highway reduces the travel distance of 30.5 Kms to 13.83 Kms from Mavinakoppa to Adagodi avoiding the circum navigation around Sharavthi back water.
