The proposed area falls within the Eco Sensitive Zone of Shettihalli Wildlife Sanctuary. There is no violation of Forest Conservation Act 1980 in the proposed area. The project is found to be essential for Villagers, because it will help to improve the infrastructure and facilities to the villagers. Hence the proposal No. FP/KA/Road/142140/2021 submitted by the user agency Assistant Divisional Engineer Shivamogga may be considered.
