The user agency has established stone crusher in Manjuguni village Sy.No 52/2 of Janmane Range, Sirsi Taluk, Uttar Kannada District. As such the user agency intended to have the forest land at F.Sy.No 61 of Khurse village, Sampakhanda Hobli, Sirsi Taluk, Uttar Kannada District for ordinary building stone quarry purpose on lease basis, for a period of 15 years. Hence the diversion of forest land of 1.97 ha can be considered in accordance with provision of Forest Conservation Act.
