The proposal is recommended for diversion of 235.648 ha of Reserved Forest area of Donimalai Forest Block of Sandur South Range under Forest Conservation Act, 1980 subject to following conditions a The user agency has established the infrastructure and used of 96.868 ha without forest clearance under Forest Conservation Act, 1980. In this regard heavy penalty may be imposed to the user agency for the violation of FC Act 1980 and it may be regularized. b There are about 138.78 ha virgin forest area located in and around the infrastructure established to support the main mining activity. Interlocked with the infrastructure . These 138.78 hectare virgin forest area should not be allowed for mining. This 138.78 hectare virgin area should be maintained as such with strict protection and necessary soil moisture conservation measures.
