Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
The proposed area is part of Anshi National Park and Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. The terrain is hilly and receives an average annual rainfall of 300-400 cm. Highly prone to erosion

(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
Tiger, Leopard, Wild dog, Elephant, Sambar, Barking deer, Spotted deer, etc The area is part of a biodiversity rich western ghats. All the major assemblage of fauna in a tropical evergreen forest is present.

Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. :

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
The impact is minimal and mainly restricted to the implementation phase. The impact may be further reduced by using trenchless boring technology.
