Airtel, Telesonic Networks Ltd, 4th Floor, C Wing, Airtel Center Plot No.16, Udyog, Vihar IV, Gurgaon, Project Bangalore has approached Bannerghatta National Park for diversion of 0.1367 Hectare of forest land for laying of Airtel Optical Fiber Cable passing through Manjunatha State Forest at Kolagondanahalli Sy No.57, Bilidale Sy No.15, Hunsanahalli Sy No.178 and Ramadevarabetta State Forest at Hosadurga Sy No.50, 51 and Thattekere Sy No.125 in Kodihalli Wildlife Range in Bannerghatta National Park Division. This project lies inside Manjunatha State Forest and Ramadevarabetta State Forest Kodihalli Wildlife Range of Bannerghatta National Park. The diversion of forest land is for laying of Airtel Optical Fiber Cable which is passing through Forest Land inside Manjunatha State Forest and Ramadevarabetta State Forest area, in Kodihalli Wildlife Range in Bannerghatta National Park Division. The extent of Forest Land which is sought to be diverted for this “Thamilnadu Border to Bheemagoundana Halli, Karnataka” Airtel Optical Fiber Cable is 0.1367 Hectare only and is less than 1 Hectare.
