Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
No specific prescription is mentioned in the Working Plan for the period 2012-13 to 2021-22 regarding mining. However, as a caption to an Iron ore mine it is noted as Iron ore mining is causing irreversible damage to the areas which are rich in iron content.

Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
Since the proposed area is on hill top, all possible measures must be taken to prevent sliding of waste dumps and other residue into the adjoining forest and streams.

During the site inpsection i observed road connecting between ML No. 2394 & ML No. 2649 of area 0.48 Ha. is part of their ML No. 2649 old No. 2395/1671 was accorded Forest Clearance in 2001 over an area of 30.33 Ha. during the site inspection observed this project does not affect any monuments of Historical, recreational, archeological importance including National Parks. Chinkara Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a distance of about 70 km from the proposed site. Hence this project is does not affect any Forests and wildlife. Further User agency has already given C& D land of 13.00 Ha. in Sy.No. 636/A of Betasur village, Gokak Division Hence i recommend the proposal for accepatance.
