Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
Co 15/D, 13/D, 10/D, 9/D , 8b/D & 8c/D are assigned to the Mixed Conifer Selection working circle. This working Circle includes all commercial forests of Deo and Kail with varying proportions of Fir and Spruce spp. Co. 16b/D and 8a/D are assigned to the Conservation working circle having significant quantum of exploitable growing stock in patches and preserves the pristine ecosystem of the area. Co. 14/D, 12/D & 11/D are assigned to the Fir Selection working circle. These forests consists of mixture of Fir with sprinkling of Spruce Deodar and Kail

During the Rock cutting some forest erosion is likely to occur as such the User agency has assured to construct the retaining walls

The said Road alignment is only possible alignment to connect the 40,000 population of Marwah & Warwan valley to District H.Q Kishtwar. Because in winter season Margan Top remains covered with Heavy snow. Moreover due to construction of this route, migration of local people from Marwah & Warwan Valley should be in favour of upliftment of this remote area. Moreover due to construction of this road accessibility in far flung Kishtwar High altitude would be possible
