The area proposed for diversion is part of compartment 46/Gul block Tangmarg, Gulmarg Forest Range. The Co. 46/Gul is part of Reboisement A working circle. 2. The area has moderately dense vegetation with optimum density of .4 and the crop constitute mainly of Kail and deodar to some extent. 3. The area proposed for diversion is 1.27 Ha. The road directly connects the village Hard Madam with Tangmarg Gulmarg road. 4. The road connectivity will uplift the habitation by providing easy access to all district roads. 5. As such the project is recommended for diversion, however following few conditions may be put in place for compliance by the user agency to avoid any kind of damage to the forests a The user agency shall not dispose, dump any debris, soil rock etc in the adjacent forest area, but shall dispose of the same outside without causing any damage to the adjoining forest area . b The user agency shall not cause any damage to vegetation in surrounding areas during carriage of material, machinery etc and will take utmost care to protect and safeguard the vegetation area. c That any dame caused by the user agency are its employees and people employed by the contractors shall be recovered from the user agency.
