Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
The immediate need to reboise the forest is :- Strict closure to grazing. Inducing natural or artificial regeneration. Planting and sowing of most suited species among conifers. Localities difficult for conifer plantation to be planted with most suitable and economical BL species. B. Planting of degraded forest near and around human settlement with fuel-wood, fruit and fodder yielding plants. C. Intensive Soil Conservation Measures including engineering works. D. Highly degraded and dry sites to be planted with hardy and drought resistance species like, Ailanthus Spp., Prunus and other local species.

Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion :
The area being slopy is prone to erosion if heavy rains or flash floods occurs.
