Sindh Forest DivisionSrinagar CircleDFO Recommended The proposal has been received from the Executive Engineer PMGSY Department Ganderbal for diversion of 4 Ha of forest land for construction of Road from Thune to Badipathri. The area falls in Compartment 69/Sindh of Forest Range Sindh Kangan and is part of Reboisement Working Circle. The area has relatively less dense vegetation with the optimum density 30 40% and the crop constitute mainly of deodar species. Since the area to be diverted is very less, it may not have that much of profound impact on the wildlife as well as the flora. As such the project is recommended for diversion subject to the conditions as envisaged in the Site Inspection Report.
Srinagar CircleCF RecommendedThe forest land is required by the User Agency for providing road connectivity to Badipathri and Thune habitations. It is an essential requirement for the purpose of basic facility of road for Badipathri and Thune habitations.Yes
