The project is recommended because the area to be diverted is very small and no felling of tree is involved. The proposed project i.e laying of OFC cable is very important as it will provide 4G networks to the rural areas of the Ramban District for better connectivity. The OFC will benefit approx. 700 souls of Chamalwas village. Hence, the proposal is recommended for approval under section 2 ii of the Forest Conservation Act, 1980.
