The proposal for diversion of forest land 0.25 Ha for construction of 45 mtr span bridge over Gurai nallah is un avoidable & highly important for hassle free movement of general public & security/defence personnel as it connects Bandipora with Gurez Valley. The abutments of the bridge falls in Compartment 50/Kg & 42/Kg of Gurez Range involving 0.25 Ha of forest land. As such the proposed site/ land needs to be cleared.
