The proposal for diversion of Forest Land 0.45 Ha for Construction of 70 Mtr span Permanent Bridge with steel superstructure over Kishan Ganga river and approach road at KM 66.950 on B G road is unavoidable and highly important for hassle free movement of general public and security/defence personals as it connects Bandipora with gurez and tulail valley . The abutments of the bridge falls in compartment 50/KG and 68/KG of Gurez Range involving 0.45 Ha of forest land. As such, the proposed site/land needs to be cleared.
