1. The area proposed for diversion is part of Hazaribagh Urban drinking Water Supply Scheme for Hazaribagh district. Hence, the issues emerging out of the present proposal does have significant impact on the local flora and wildlife. It is noteworthy to mention that the areas proposed for diversion has seen the frequent movement of wild elephant in past. During these movement, there are several instances of damage caused to the life and property. Therefore, for avoiding any negative human wild animal interface a detailed wildlife management plan with adequate mitigation measures has to be included. 2. At various places, Lantana camara infestation was noticed during the site visit. Hence, a Lantana removal scheme need to be included for 10 years to check further infestation of this invasive species 3. It was noticed that the forest area has gentle to moderate slope.
