The proposed diversion of forest land is for erection of towers and laying of H.T. line from chatra to hunterganj for various needs of the people. It is a infrastructure project highly required by the user agency and from the site inspection it was very clear that the area proposed for diversion is minimum forest land and therefor the proposal has been recommended under the provision of FC Act 1980.

The Proposal submitted by user agency for construction of 132KV DC transmission line from Hunterganj Chatra will provide uniterrupted power supply for agricultural activity and households for people living in Hunterganj Block. On implementation the proposed transmission line would enhance the standard of living of local population by boosting socio economic activity in this part of chatra. Hence the proposal is here by recomended for approval.
