The proposed forest land of 1.5380 Ha. in Lachanpur is a degraded open forest prone to gully and sheet erosion during heavy rainfall with poor natural regenration.

The proposed diversion of forest land is for erection of towers and laying of H.T. line from Itkhori to Chatra for various needs of the people. It is a infrastructure project highly required by the user agency and from the site inspection it was very clear that the area proposed for diversion is minimum forest land and therefor the proposal has been recommended under the provision of FC Act 1980.
