5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion are as per the general practices under coppice with standard (CWS) working circle and Rehabilitation cum- plantation working circle.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : Proposed Forest Area is vulnerable to soil erosion, gully erosion and in some part Ravines are also present inside the forest area proposed for the diversion.

8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Elephant, Hyena, Python, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Deer, Barking Deer, Fox, Indian Cobra, Jungli Cat, Jackal, Rabbit etc. are present in and around proposed forest land.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : No

Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): Yes

Hazaribagh WestHazaribaghDFO RecommendedThe user agency M/S DVC has applied for10.106 hectare of forest land for diversion under forest Conservation Act for construction of 132 KV D/C Transmission line between DVC’s Hazaribag Sindur substation to T.S.S. Hazaribag of Railway to facilitate to power supply to Railway. The area is spread in forests of 08 villages namely Nagwan , Mandaikhurd , Maraikalan, Alagdiha, Harina, Mayapur, Chharwa & Gadokhar under this division . This project will improve the electrical supply to railway which is essential for regular transportation of coal through Railway to different parts of country. The proposal was examined in the light of the guidelines issued by GOl along with the checklist and has been found in a complete state. The proposed area and its surrounding area is good habitat of may wild animals and this project will definitely impact adversely on resident and migratory wild animals and birds for which a wildlife management plan will be required. Overall, the project is in the interest of the nation and therefore, this proposal for diversion of 10.106 ha. forest land for 132 KV D/C Transmission line , under the provisions of Forest Conservation Act is recommended for approval by the competent authority.
HazaribaghCF RecommendedThe present proposal for diversion involves 10.106 Ha of forest land in Hazaribagh West Division out of which 7.101 ha. is Protected Forest and the rest 3.005 ha. GM Jungle Jhari for construction of 132 KV D/C Transmission line between DVC’s Hazaribagh Sindur sub station to TSS Dhanbad. The applied forest area proposed for diversion is spread across 9 PFs namely Nagwan, Merawal, Mandaikhurd, Maraikalan, Alagdiha, Harina, Mayapur, Chharwa & Gadokhar PF . As mentioned above in the divisional forest officer recommendation the proposed area and surrounding area is good habitat of may wild animals and this project will definitely impact adversely on resident and migratory wild animals and birds for which a wildlife management plan will be required. The proposal is meant for construction and development of transmission system and also to mitigate the actual shortage of power due to non availability/inadequate capacity of transmission system in the area. A large number of people will be benefited by this project. In view of the aforesaid facts, this proposal is being recommended for the diversion of 10.106 ha. Forest Land for construction of 132 KV D/C Transmission line between DVC’s Hazaribagh Sindur sub station to TSS Dhanbad.Yes
