This proposal is for expansion of Godda College, Godda run by state government which was established in the year 1954. Godda district is inhabited by extremely backward castes, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and PVTGs particularly vulnerable tribal groups . These are educationally and economically backward sections of the society, who cannot afford education in private colleges or colleges outside their native district. Today with changing times, higher education has become the need of the hour, and with consistent rise in population, colleges need bigger and better infrastructure to cater to the need of students. Thus, in the interest of good quality, local and state sponsored education, this project is being recommended.
