GoddaDeogharDFO RecommendedThe Godda College is an important Govt. educational institution of the State Govt. in Godda district, Jharkhand where poor and tribal students are getting education since August 1954. The total forest area involved in the diversion of the above project is 12.44 Ha. The Santhal Pargana region is a large forest dominated area inhabited by tribal groups, primitive tribal, scheduled casts and extremely backward castes. Since its inception Godda College Godda has been serving society be delivering quality higher education in the streams of science, arts, and education. College also runs courses in Botany, Zoology, Environment and Geography which is useful in conserving the biodiversity of this region. With increasing no of students every year expansion and development of college infrastructure is necessary.
DeogharCF RecommendedThis proposal is for expansion of Godda College, Godda run by state government which was established in the year 1954. Godda district is inhabited by extremely backward castes, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and PVTGs particularly vulnerable tribal groups . These are educationally and economically backward sections of the society, who cannot afford education in private colleges or colleges outside their native district. Today with changing times, higher education has become the need of the hour, and with consistent rise in population, colleges need bigger and better infrastructure to cater to the need of students. Thus, in the interest of good quality, local and state sponsored education, this project is being recommended. Yes
