 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Area have presence of Wild Boar, Indian Hare, Barking Deer, Jackal, Python, Monkey, Sahil, Hyna, Nilgai, Jungli Murgi etc., and nearby area also have witnessed elephant movement.

The project will cater to the domestic energy needs of the people of Chatra district and would help bring down the dependency of people on fuel wood. The forest land required for the project is barest minimum. Hence the project is recommended.

The Project proposal will lead to availability of cleaner fuel, CNG at much affordable price and would help in reducing dependency on fuelwood/coal, the more polluting fuels. It will cater energy needs of Chatra District and promote socio economic development. The forest land proposed for diversion is unavoidable and is barest minimum, required for the project. Hence, the project is hereby recommended for approval.
