BokaroCF RecommendedOut of 2.71 ha forest land in Durukasmar, 1.57 ha is already broken up before 1980. This land was transferred to CCL by DFO, Hazaribagh East Division prior to the year 1980. Out of 98.29 ha GM,J.J. land 55.20 ha land was broken prior to the year 1996. CCL has deposited the amount of NPV Rs. 3,53,00,140.00 Rs. Three crore fifty three lakh one hundred forty only in compliance to the Demand of DFO, Ramgarh vide his letter no. 1046 dated 14.05.2016. At present 1.14 ha notified forest and 43.09 ha GM JJ land is unbroken. During the inspection GM, CCL informed that earlier broken up area will be filled up with the OB of new area. As the forest area required for Parej East Open Cast Project has a good reserve of economic coal which is site specific, the proposed 101.00 ha forest land diversion for coal mining is recommended under the provisions of Forest Conservation Act 1980 Rules/Guidelines.Yes
