The proposal is recommended for approval under the Forest Conservation Act 1980, Subject to provision to avoid air and water pollution regular maintenance of the concerned road and water sprinkling to be done by CCL i.e User Agency. From the perusal of the proposal and the documents attached to, it appears that the proposed forest land of 431.59 Ha is required by the CCL for the excavation/mining of coal which is the chief source of electricity/energy in the country and therefore, 431.59 Ha of proposed forest land is recommended for diversion under the provision of Forest Conservation Act 1980 and the Forest Conservation Rules, 2003
