WL SpitiWL S ShilmaDFO RecommendedThe construction of road is going to benefit the people of two districts viz Kinnaur and Lahoul Spiti. The distance will be reduced by more than one hundred kilometer between these two districts. It will also reduce time in reaching India China International border. The construction of road is also beneficial as the areas which are still in accessible will be of very much importance for promoting eco tourism. The local people of the area will also be benefited by way of their access to take cash crops to market through shorter route. This construction is going to cover all aspects like reduced length of existing road, safety of border areas, promotion of eco tourism, effective management of National Park, increased economy of local people.
