Police Station Rampur is situated on NH 05 and at a distance 130 Km from headquarter Shimla. The PS are surrounded by PS Kumarsain, Jhakri,Rohru, Nankhri of district Shimla and PS Brow and Nirmand of Distt. kullu. Total population of this PS is 72845 as per census and the area of PS is 34,796 hec. the old Police Station in dilapidated condition and after dismantle the old PS building instead of new Police Station could not made because it is situated at national Highway 05. there is no Govt. land is available in Mohal Rampur The Joint Inspection Committee has ed the site for construction of PS as the said land is suitable for the construction of Police Station. The site is suitable for general public and also be centrally able to look after the law and order from this particular site. Hence Joint Inspection Committee has ed above site and also recommended for construction of Police Station Rampur at fenidhar.
