Contiguous patches for sustainable mining available in the river bed area under the ownership of HP Govt. and possession of the Forest Department. Area in Khasra No. 390/285/153 measuring 24 08 bighas 2.057 ha. of mauza Rampur Ghat of Paonta Sahib Tehsil. As such the letter of Intent number Udyog Bhu Khani 4 Laghu 472/2016 5518 dated 06.05.2016 stating that the auction of minor mineral quarries Sand, Stone & Bajri of District Sirmour held on 25.04.2016, during the auction of Rampur Ghat I Yamuna River Paonta Sahib, the highest annual auction bid for above proposed area only offered by Sh. Yogeshwar Singh S/O Sh. Roshan lal, Ward No. 3, PO & Teh. Nalagarh, Distt. Solan HP for the lease period of 15 years. Being a river bed that gets recharged annually by the natural water flow and no tree involve in this area to be diverted project may be approved under FCA, 1980. Also as mentioned in joint inspection report of committee, illicit mining that may sometime happen in the area will be thwarted post diversion.
