5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : Being river bed area is not mentioned in working plan. As per revenue record this area is a Gair mumkin naddi Yamuna under the ownership of HP Govt. and possession of Forest Department .
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : Area is river bed that gets annually recharged in monsoon. Mining carried out as per acts and rules thereof shall not subject the forest area to erosion.

Being a river bed that gets recharged annually by the natural water flow and absence of tree in the area to be diverted, project may be approved under FCA, 1980. Also as mentioned in joint inspection report of committee, illicit mining that may sometime happen in the area will be thwarted post diversion.
