Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion :
As per the working plan, area falls under Plantation Working Circle (PWC) and silviculture system prescribed is modified clear felling system with artificial regeneration as mentioned para 16.1.5 chapter XVI.

The Hydro Projects are site specific Projects. The area in question is surrounded by forest land, so there is no alternate to minimize the forest land. The proposed area has been ed with minimum forest land and involving less felling of trees. Thus 0.5151 ha of forest land is recommended for diversion under Forest Conservation Act, 1980.
