The telecom cables are always laid along the road side due to easy supervision, quick maintenance and low cost of maintenace The Applicant does not have to acquire land for this purpose as the road side land belongs to PWD gujrat state laying of cable shall be done on a 45 cm. width of surface land, & up to 1.65 meter of depth and near to the extreme road boundary where alignment of trench will be done in such way that no tree will be required to be cut. The laying of telecom transmission cable along roadside is an agreed policy of the Applicant and Ministry Surface Transport.
