The undersigned has inspected the proposed project site with forest area at Sy No. 34/1 P , 63/2,3,4 P , 64/1 P of Mollem Village, Sy No. 36 Private Forest of Collem Village and Sy No. 62/3, 62/4, of Mollem village Revenue area and Sy No. 37/1 Private land , 39/1,2 Private/revenue land , 41, 47/1 Private lands , 66 Government land , 67/1 Revenue/private land , and 77 Railway land on 14th July, 2022 and then on 30/08/2022 along with the representatives of Goa Electricity Department User Agency and Indian Railways Beneficiary Department . The proposed area is found to be optimal for the project and bare minimum number of trees 81 Nos. are proposed for felling. Remaining trees will only be pruned as per requirement. The kml file re submitted by the User Agency has been verified at ground level and is tallying with the alignment demarcated in field. In view of above submitted factors, and since the instant project proposal is of larger public interest in supplying 6000 KVA power to the South Western Railway, which will be one more step ahead for the Indian railways in achieving the milestone of 100% electrification of the rail tracks and phasing out the diesel powered locomotives, the proposal is recommended for further consideration and approval please.
