The area is gently sloping. Old mining pits have rugged terrain. Since the area is high rainfall area with slopy terrain, the area is vulnerable to erosion without vegetation cover

The lease area is fully proposed for diversion as per existing FCA rules and guidelines. However, as per the mining plan approved by competent authority 28.30 ha is proposed to be used for 5 years ie., till 2026 27. Hence ground breaking is recommended for only this 28.30 ha at this instance.
