The necessity of this new subway entry/exit came up to the demand of RWA's and insistence of Traffic Police department to give an entry/exit on DDA Sports Complex side to minimize pedestrian accidents while using the Africa Avenue road side. Since the required width or a suitable land is unavailable on the existing footpath for such construction, the construction is proposed inside the boundary wall of the DDA Sports Complex notified Protected Forest.
