The project is for widening of NH930. Part of it is passing through Rajnandgaon forest division. Diversion is for 46.955 ha. forest land. As the road existed earlier, and the project is for widening. Hence any alternate route may not be any better. Yet, as most of the good forest of the division lies in that very zone, so it may be required to have a vehicle, its POL and driver for the project implementation phase and a follow up period (for a total of 5 years) for monitoring and ensuring implementation of FCA diversion conditions of various stages.
