Nagaon South Division, HojaiC.F N.A.C, TezpurDFO RecommendedIt will improve the distribution of electricity without causing major damage to the forest land, provided mitigated measures are to be implemented by the user Agency for forest & Environment as per Guideline. Therefore the permission for diversion is recommended for the aforesaid purpose.
Dima Hasao Forest East Division, HaflongDima Hasao Circle(council) HaflongDFO RecommendedThe above proposal submitted by the AEGCL is recommended as proposed by the User Agency.
C.F N.A.C, TezpurCF Recommended? The construction of 132 KV D/C Sankardev Nagar, Lumding Transmission line from AEGCL, Samaguri having public interest. The project will improve the overall scenerio of power distribution in he entire area/region. The proposed forest area falls inside the Lumding RF and the Lumding RF is a part of Dhansiri Lumding Elephant Reserve. Movement of wild elephants are very common from the neighbouring RF throughout the year by using its habitual corridor/path which falls in the proposed diversion area. The diversion of the proposed Forest land is barest minimum as reported. So it is suggested to maintain pre cautionery measures for smooth movement of wild elephant as well as other wildlife by the User Agency/Project proponent to safeguard the wildlife of the State and in this regard opinion of the expert from Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun may be sought for including follow of guidelines of MoEF & CC under FC ACT,1980 Yes
Dima Hasao Circle(council) HaflongCF RecommendedThe requirement of the Forest land is unavoidable and barest minimum for the Project and the laying of Transmission Line is proposed in open Reserve Forests with minimum disturbance to the Forests and Wildlife. As such, the diversion proposal is recommended for acceptance subject to observation of applicable rules/Regulations/CA under the Forest Conservation Act, 1980.Yes
Nodal Officer RecommendedThe requirement of the Forest land is unavoidable and barest minimum for the Project and the laying of Transmission Line is proposed in open Reserve Forests with minimum disturbance to the Forests and Wildlife
