5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The proposed diversion of forest land for this project falls under 4(four) nos. of compartments of Gohpur Reserve Forest namely - SER5C6, SER5C7, SER5C8. SER5C9. The Working Plan has prescribed Community & Forest Rights Working Circle in the above mentioned compartments of Gohpur RF.

6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : RF in the proposed area of diversion is stable and is not prone to erosion. Further the proposed project is a Linear Project, hence the vulnerability due to project does not arise

7. Approximate distance of the proposed site for diversion from boundary of forest(in km.) : 0.0

8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view

(i).

Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : The incidences of wild elephant depredation in this and nearby area has been observed

(ii).

Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The proposed forest area for diversion falls inside Gohpur RF which is a part of the Sonitpur Elephant Reserve notified vide No.FRW-44/2002/46. The entire Gohpur RF is encroached and it is devoid of wildlife except for elephant movement observed during the migration of elephant between Forest area in Arunachal Pradesh and 6th Addition of Kaziranga National Park.

Sonitpur East	C.F N.A.C, Tezpur	DFO	Recommended	The setting up of a domestic Greenfield Airport at Hollongi, Arunachal Pradesh is Govt. of India project and the area for the proposed airport has been handed over to Airport Authority of India by District Administration of Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh. The proposed area consists of a 132KV inter state transmission line maintained by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The line corridor is interfering with the aircraft’s approach and take off tunnel as well as the boundary of Hollongi Airport and hence the shifting of the said high tension line is necessary. As the boundary of the proposed airport is along the boundary of Assam & Arunachal Pradesh, the shifting of the line is to be routed only through Assam state and the entire area on Assam side along the inter state boundary falls under Gohpur RF. Therefore in order to facilitate the construction of the airport at Hollongi, the diversion of the forest land which is the barest minimum required as above is recommended for acceptance.
	C.F N.A.C, Tezpur	CF	Recommended	The construction of Nirjuli Transmission line from LOC No.42 to LOC No. 64 due to upcoming Green Field Airport at Holongi Arunachal Predesh is a Govt. of India Project harving National interest. It will improve overall power scenario as well as communication system without causing major damage to the Forest and environment and also the diversion of the forest land which is the barest minimum required, the proposal is recommended for acceptance as per guideline of MoEF & CC under F.C.Act,1980. During winter, wild elephants movement noticed from the neighbouring RF areas of Arunachal Pradesh to 6th addition to Kaziranga National Park. For the safty of wild elephant it is suggested to maintain suitable mitigation measures for the wild life as per rules and regulation in force.	Yes
