(i).
Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion :
MOST OF THE FOREST LAND PROPOSED FOR DIVERSION IS COVERED BY FOREST VILLAGES. WILDLIFE PRESENT IN AND AROUND THE PROPOSED FOREST LAND ARE MAINLY ELEPHANT AND OTHER COMMON WILD ANIMALS LIKE FOX AND SPECIES FROM CIVET FAMILIES.

Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. :

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
SINCE MOST OF THE FOREST LAND PROPOSED FOR DIVERSION IS COVERED BY FOREST VILLAGES IMPACT ON WILD ANIMALS WILL BE MINIMAL. HOWEVER, BETWEEN TOWER LOCATION AP-4 AND LOCATION AP-5, THERE EXISTS ELEPHANT HABITAT FOR WHICH SPECIAL PROTECTION MEASURES ARE REQUIRED LIKE INCREASE OF TOWER HEIGHT ETC. ALL PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES IN WILDLIFE ELEPHANT CORRIDOR IS REQUIRED TO BE ADHERED BY THE USER AGENCY AS PER MoEF GUIDELINE FOR TRANSMISSION LINES PASSING THROUGH WILDLIFE CORRIDOR DTD. 19TH NOV, 2014.
(iii).

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TRANSMISSION LINE IS A GOVT. OF INDIA PROJECT HAVING NATIONAL INTEREST. IT WILL IMPROVE THE OVERALL POWER SCENARIO WITHOUT WITHOUT MAJOR DAMAGE OF FOREST AND ENVIRONMENT. THEREFORE THE DIVERSION OF THE SUBJECT FOREST LAND IS RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL.
