5. Working plan prescription for the forest land proposed for diversion : The proposed area falls in the compartment numbers SER5C1 and SER5C3. The Working Plan 2019-20 to 2028-29 proposes for Joint Forest Management Working Circle for the proposed area.
6. Brief note on vulnerability of the forest area to erosion : The forest area proposed for diversion has a gentle slope and is not vulnerable to soil erosion.

8. Significance of the forest land proposed for diversion from wildlife point of view
 (i). Details of wildlife present in and around the forest land proposed for diversion : Incidents of wild elephant depredation in nearby area has been observed.
 (ii). Whether forms part of national park, wildlife sanctuary, biosphere reserve,tiger reserve, elephant corridor, wildlife migration corridor etc. : Yes
  Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas : The proposed forest area for diversion falls inside Gohpur RF which is a part of the Sonitpur Elephant Reserve notified vide No.FRW-44/2002/46. The proposed area is under human habitation and devoid of wild animals except for elephant movement observed during migration of elephants between forest area in Arunachal Pradesh and 6th Addition to Kaziranga National Park.
 (iii). Whether the forest land proposed for diversion is located within eco-sensitive zone(ESZ) of the Protected Area notified under Wildlife(Protection) Act,1972 (Note: In case, ESZ of a Protected Area is not notified,then,10kms distance from boundary of the Protected Area should be treated as ESZ): No

It is a project of national interest as several stations of strategic importance as the track follows the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. Therefore, in order to facilitate the electrification of Rangia Murkongselek track, the diversion of the forest land which is barest minimum required as above is recommended for acceptance.
C.F N.A.C, TezpurCF RecommendedThe construction of 132 KV EHT Single Circuit transmission line on double Circuit tower from AEGCL Gohpur GSS to NF Railway Gohpur TSS the Railway Electrification Project is a Central Govt. Project. The project will improve the scenerio of Railway Electrification between several Railway Station as well as railway transport in between Rangiya Murkangselek rail track. The Project will also improve the Economic scenario of the Region. The diversion of the forest land is barest minimum required. The proposed forest area falls inside the Gohpur RF which is a part of Sonitpur Elephant Reserve notified vide No FRW 44/2002/46, dtd. 7th March/2003. The proposed area is under human habitation and devoid of wild animals. Movements of wild elephant noticed from the neighbouring RF of Arunachal Predesh & 6th Additional to Kaziranga National Park. So it is suggested to maintain precautionery measures for smooth movement of wild elephant by the User Agency/Project Proponent to safe guard the wildlife of the State as per rules and regulations of FC Act 1980 as well as wild life protection Act,1972.Yes
