The construction of 132 KV D/C Pare HEP to Lakhimpur Transmission line is a Govt. of India Project having National interest. It will improve overall power scenario of the North Eastern region without causing major damage of the forest and environment provided some mitigation measures are taken by the User Agency as per guideline of F.C.Act,1980. As the forest area proposed for diversion is unavoidable and barest minimum required for the project, therefore, the diversion of the forest land as above is recommended for acceptance subject to mitigation measures to safeguard wildlife and fulfillment of other terms and conditions under the F.C.Act .
