Though proposed Forest Diversion area is frequented by Wild elephant and other wildlife but due to sufficient clearance ( 20 mts to 23 mts) between Ground and Span of the Conductor, the new transmission line will not hinder the movement of wild elephant and other wild animal in Rakhyasini PRF.

The proposed 18.028 hectares area of forest land for for construction of 01 x 132 KV transmission line from Agia GSS to Goalpara fall under Rakhsyini PRF of Sadar Range Goalpara of Goalpara Forest Division T , Goalpara is recommended in view of no green felling and importance of the development of the nation and especially North east India and Goalpara district in respect of improvement of communication/ transportation. On implementation of the proposed project the entire area would be benefitted economically & socially. Further, the requirement of forest land proposed by the user agency is unavoidable and barest minimum required for the project.

The User Agency to deposit 2 percent of the total project cost for HEC mitigation and Wildlife conservation purpose. ii. Sine 2 nos transmission line already running through the Rakhyasini PRF, this transmission line also run parallel to other transmission line keeping basic height of each tower a minimum of 27 mts. and the span of the conductor ground clearance of minimum 20 mts to 23 mts.
