The bridge is on the eroding side of the meander of Namchik river, however the vegetation growth is holding on to the sandy soil along the banks.

Forms part of Dihing Patkai Elephant Reserve with frequent movement of large herds in the area.

Details and comments on the impact of Project on such areas :
As the area is close to the boundary of the forest area and near the river there will not be much impact on movement of elephants in the corridor and the probability of leading to human wildlife conflict is less .
