The identified area is absolutely degraded and susceptible to future encroachment if not properly monitored. Entire patch of land is lying vacant and no new plantation is proposed there.

The relocation of site at Pabha RF under Lakhimpur Division shall be in the interest of the people/public under rehabilitation from the areas under the Dibru Saikhowa National Park of the area. It will definitely help to establish the village to rehabilitate the people in a planned and scientific manner with optimum land utilization inside the Pabha RF. Therefore, the proposal is recommended, subject to fulfillment of terms and conditions of the guidelines of the MoEF.
